Lived up to the hype, can’t wait to keep reading. Alan Moore’s writing is superb.

Amazing and mind-boggling. Moore completly revitalized horror comics and created the entire concept of mature comics. Gorgeous stuff.
Alan Moore’s insurgent takedown of DC from within its hallowed halls. The way he manages to balance between full on superhero narrative and environmental cosmic horror yarn is impressive. The Monkey King is terrifying. Floronic Man deserves his own title. The cameo of the Justice League, the over-men, is an all-timer.
Great shit. Just my type of thing: only note was some sketchy stuff with autistic kids but that’s more an artifact of the time it was written.
Normally I post well thought out reviews but all I can say about this comic is holy crap. I desperately need more of this series after reading this book.
Swamp Thing has been one of those superheroes(?) that I have been aware of for some time, but never read read any of. Eventually I got my chance with THE SAGA OF THE SWAP THING. One this I can say is Swampy is certainly different. Part ecological, part humanistic, all original much unlike your typical (although would one ever expect otherwise from Moore?)
