i think this book was great in the second half but it took me awhile to get into. the characters are introduced to you, a lot of them, very quickly which is hard to grasp onto in the beginning. i liked the drama but i wish lily had a bigger secret, i feel like her and campbell’s drama was overlooked. also the ending of the senator going to jail just worked all too well. but the ending like last 150 pages were very captivating and enjoyable.
