I started reading this because I was transcribing an audio recording of a talk the author gave on a different book she wrote about Phyllis and the Mundays. And then I read the intro of this book and it bored all of the enthusiasm for the topic out of me. I really enjoyed the talk, though! And my transcription is now live in the university's repository, so that's great.
