I found this to be a fun read, it is a short book with only 214 pages according to goodreads. This is the third book with Angela Masters as the main character. I have only read this one and you can read then separately, there is no need to read the others first as each is a different story.
This is actually a very real story, a woman goes missing. There are various other characters other than detective Angela Masters who is completely intent on getting the bad guy and at times was a little obsessed with her task, but it was not too much in the writing and she came across as a nice, caring person, Gordon Kennaly, who the author has done a superb job of charactizing, he is the most arrogant person around and it shows in the writing of the book, even got a little annoying at times it was so well done, the author managed to put me in the room with him and I wanted to tell him to shut up a couple of times. Another of the main characters is Jane Braun, another great character who also seemed real.
I thought a couple of times the book was over but it kept going which I enjoyed, giving the reader a bit more. There are plenty of twists and action, and although it is a crime book there is a nice court room section in it also.
There were a few flashbacks that seemed a little excessive in the beginning, I am not sure if these were from previous Angela Masters books or not, but I felt they didn´t help much to the story, a bit of editing could be done on this, but it is a minor complaint.
There are some great moments when the author writes the police radio codes, this shows his background in police enforcement.
I enjoyed the book, I didn´t find any spelling or grammatical mistakes and I give it 3 out of 5 stars.

Entitlement: An Angela Masters Detective Novel by Mike Worley brings the Heat. Worley writes this novel like a movie script. It simply flows with mystery, suspense and action. Detective Angi is a powerhouse character, strong woman, good at her job and her hunches are pretty spot on. Worley provides background details at the beginning of the story, which I dearly appreciate. Erica, a young woman has gone missing and Detective Angi is on the case. This novel presents many twists and turns at times you think you know who did it and how, but Worley will throw a monkey wrench in your theory. This book is reminiscent of CSI and Law & Order wrapped up in one. But it is so much more than what you would experience in a 45 minute episode; Worley presents the reader with the whole picture looking at this missing person, a possible crime, all characters thoroughly defined in one novel. Great job Worley excited to see what comes up next.
