Such a fun little Novella that sets up the world really well, it was fast paced but still felt as though there was a good structure to it. JLA made me fall in love with Dez and Jas even though the trilogy is not about them but I hope they do pop up in Layla’s story!
Good, short, sweet. Still awkward and dull at times.
I recommend it to fill the void reading the first book leaves; it is not fantastic but it is cool.

So I'm just going to do a quick little review for this one being that it is just a prequel. I totally loved this! It was adorable. Dez and Jas were so cute together! It wasn't to sappy, it was just really cute. Here are some gifs for this book now:
I just love this world. And when we got to see Roth? I actually cackled and squealed. It was a touching story of Jasmine and Dez. I loved going back into this world, knowing what would happen. Fabulous novella!

Wow! This. Is. Something. To. Look. Forward. To! Bitter sweet love is the prequel to JLA's upcoming book, White Hot Kiss ( The Dark Elements #1) and what can I say? I am over excited and I can't wait to have this on my hands! Because....JLA is one of the best! All the horde of JLA fans would all nod and agree with me!
I never heard about Wardens until now. That there are another beings other than the angels and demons I read...and there are different kinds of demons too? From the cute pukwudgie ( but lethal ones?!) to the Upper level Demons? Very interesting indeed.
It was already known among us that JLA can create really REALLY interesting and not to mention beyond HOT characters. She can even make aliens SWOON and DROOL WORTHY all at the same time?! Think about Daemon Black from the Luxe Series?! Yes. That Daemon! Oh. Don't get me started because, sweeties, I could go on and on! Haha!
Now this thing about Demons and Wardens... Looking at Dez ...Zhane... and this upper level demon... I got no doubt that JLA can definitely make this another Epic series ...that I will happily and ever so willingly be following!
