I have no words for this.
The beginning was a little slow, but once it started going it didn't slow!
I am worried about how Manon is going to fall into the story. I didn't really care for her at first, and was even a bit annoyed with the witch parts, but it grew on me.
I LOVE Rowan. I can't wait to see what happens with that whole situation, even though I think that she is making a silly decision in the end.
I am also feeling a bit unsatisfied with her relationship with the Captain.

The ending had me going, "Oh, shit.shit.shit" I was totally not expecting what had happened with the king, and thought that it could have been thought out better. I understand why it had to happen though.

I am thrilled with this book, and I am starting the next one immediately.

Literally, everything I want and more in a book. I didn't like how Choal treated celeana after he found out about her
magic
so obviously I want her and brown to get together. He is perfect for her. he can put her out when she gets to be too much but also can help build her, magically and mentally. Also, I think Manons POV was unnecessary. I also absolutely bawled when
Dorian lover died, it kind of gave JFk

this series is amazing but the pace is so funny to me. Going from the super face paced (a little too fast tbh) COT, this book felt a little too slow for me. but still very solid ofc!
