Me gustó un montón este tomo, creo que hasta ahora es mi favorito porque finalmente la historia esta avanzando y vemos más del pasado de los personajes, además la relación de Nick y Seiji tuvo un pequeño desarrollo y a mí me están alimentando con esas pocas migajas… amaria que los volúmenes salieran más seguido pero bueno toca esperar.

2025 reread: This was really fun! I loved getting to see Nick and the team actually fencing other teams. I also really liked the emphasis on Nick and Eugene being there to learn rather than win. It was also nice to see Seiji bonding with his teammates and making friends! There were so many little moments that had me giggling or laughing and it just reminded me why I fell in love with this series. Volume five is getting four stars!
Original 2024 review: I love these dumb dumbs to the moon and back! They are so funny and I love to see them getting to hang out and train with other fencing teams. I also love seeing Nick getting to learn from other fencers. You can see him improving match by match, even if it’s not as fast as he would like. I also really loved that Seiji is finally starting to bond with the team (and Nick). All the little interactions and the funny moments had me giggling. Fence Rise is getting four stars and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next volume!
