Another brilliant volume of Fences by C S Pascat. The illustrations were on point as always and loved the next instalment of the journey these boys are on.

This was such a great volume. In this one we follow the team as they go to fencing camp! They're all sharing a room and it is just hilarious. It's like a giant sleepover. The more serious part of camp is them facing off against other schools during the training part of the camp. I don't want to spoil anything but this was a really great volume. We got to see the guys having fun but also learning a lot at the training camp. Can't wait for the next volume!

It's been a while since I read something from this series/universe but I was so happy to finally read volume 5 and get back into this world! It's still questionable about if I actually understand how fencing works but I'm having a good time rooting for everyone and that's what counts lol

There was such a big wait between this vol and the next that I found myself all but crying over the wait. I keep wanting more and more for the characters and waiting for the moment where we see the huge conflict develop lucky enought the novels are able to tide me over.
