Horrible horrible book. I made it through but barely. A child could have written a better. But will I read the second one sadly yes. Can't give up.

This was the first fantasy book serie i read as a child. I can't imagine a better way to enter the fantasy book world. After many years ,fallen is still one of my favorite book series and i totally recommend it to all my fellow readers.

Shallow and boring.
It finally picked up a little bit in the last hundred pages, but the writing is so bad and the plot so cheesy I could barely keep a straight face.
Still...I might read the next one because I'm curious about the story. I feel like this whole book was unnecessary build-up to the real action. Or maybe there's more nothing and nonsense to come? Quite possible.

Like all the other reviews. A not so great teen supernatural romance novel. Seemed very much like Twilight.

I read this book years ago, I remember loving it. It didn't really do it for me this time around.
