It started off cute but somewhere after the midpoint, maybe, I feel like it devolved into the MCs being kind of immature and whiney. Towards the end, the book started feeling like it was on shaky legs, Bambi-style. The writing felt childish, like a fantastical story with ohmigod all the drama that one would throw in when writing a story in high school.

Hot Hex Boyfriend is a charming tale that's perfect for a cozy fall day. It's not spicy, but rather, it's reminiscent of a Hallmark movie with its heartwarming story. There were some parts that had me smirking at the humor and just when I thought I had it all figured out, the author threw in a couple of twists that caught me off guard. If you're looking for a light, fun read to brighten up a rainy fall day, this is definitely the book for you. Just FYI, I received this as an ARC and this is my honest review.
Such a fun story! I loved the dual POV and it was just the right balance of the characters’ love story, a greater plot, and just a hint of spice. I regret not reading this one in time for spooky season!
