This is... kind of all over the place? This collectes #25 and #30-33? Which is just odd. I double checked and that's what's listed on DC's website.

Anyway, I enjoyed the first 2 volumes of this series (lack of women of color aside) but it just dipped for me and I'm not sure why? It went from managing multiple threads really well to getting bogged down with way too many. There's Batwoman's investigations, there's what's going on with Raven and Zatanna, there's what's going on with Mera and the water villain (?), there's what's going on with Supergirl, and from time to time Wonder Woman just shows up with Steve Trevor.

I like a lot of the themes in this series. I wish they'd made the black female characters matter (and I definitely wish they hadn't all just showed up and left before we really got to know them). I wish I'd gotten more of Shiera and Mari most of all.

Overall, I see a lot of good themes here but I don't love the execution.

I love this series. I'm so glad it's continuing in Bombshells United.

I love this series, LOVE IT. It's so queer, full of amazing superheroines and anti-heroines. There are discussions about humanity, hope, and goodness and calls out of white supremacy, antisemitism, racism, misogyny, and xenophobia. The world is pretty queer friendly. Perfect?

No, but although it is so full of hate and bigotry (from the villains), the hope and love and friendship is so heartwarming. I always ended up smiling with these characters. Bombshells is seriously everything I need; women punching nazis and kissing other women.

Either I keep forgetting who all the characters are or we're getting to characters I don't know, and their reveals aren't as dramatic to me as the narrative wants them to be.

It’s really nice to see a superhero comic centered entirely around women, and with multiple queer relationships too! #Harlivy

Just finally catching up on my single issues, I love this series! Still one of my favourite comic book series of all time.
