I didn’t expect to love these books as much as I have
I may have loved Anne of Green Gables but I sure as hell won’t ever warm up to Anne the Cat KILLER.
There isn’t even an excuse. There is no such thing as putting it out of its own misery because it was obviously getting better after you fed it of your OWN volition and you didn’t even show the slightest moment of hesitation (sure you ran away moments before it was lured to its doom for your friends to do the dirty work that totally shows you have a functioning moral compass).
Homegirl harboured a murderous intent against an innocent stray and this is meant to be a children’s book?? If this is how dark topics are brushed off so light-heartedly the world must be coming to an end. Chicken Little was right; the sky is falling, doomsday is here.
YOU ARE DARN LUCKY THE CAT SURVIVED OR WHO KNOWS WHAT I WOULDVE DONE
Where’s the zero star option when you actually need it
