So much better and expansive than I had planned for. Bell's work also weaves in a very helpful story about talking to kids about police violence and history that would be easy to utilize for most parents.

this book has left my brain full of knowledge, both new and old- what an important read, told wonderfully as a graphic novel. the jumps between a more realistic style, black and white sketches, and full color comics really enhanced the storytelling!
