Welp, that was disturbing and depraved. I’m not really sure how to explain my experience reading this….

Like did I love this or hate it?

I’m all for an unhinged main character and a freaky deaky plot but there were just some things….

like the curling iron… that went a bit far for me…..

If you are a fan of horror and FMCs that blow female stereotypes out of the water this is for you! Maeve is a badass in all ways, a tad self involved and lets us all know females don’t have to be a victim in order to be monstrous. Disney princess by day and serial killer in her off time, the premise of this storyline is intriguing and the twists and turns keep you hooked from the beginning. There is gore and mature themes so check the triggers, but I, for one, thoroughly enjoyed this read!
