They are so CUTE I loved them so much.
It’s been weeks and I’m still thinking about them. The story was hilariously dumb but their relationship was so cute it. I don’t even watch reality tv but this book makes me want to try it out. I loved the way they addressed mental health in this book and I just want more of the characters in this world.

The way that Alison wrote about depression in this book hit close to home.

This book was such a nice surprise! I didn’t expect to love it as much as I did. If you’ve read Heartstopper, this is a more mature version with all of the same pining and heart-tugging gay panic. Not quite smutty, but all of the intimate scenes are still satisfying and enthralling. Didn’t give it a 5 just because it’s a little too “after-school special” for my taste but the author is an 11th grade teacher so that tracks! Great read!

So GOOD. So funny that I actually laughed out loud more than a couple times, so sweet and romantic, and so simply charming. I loved how both of the main characters dealt with mental illness and it never made them less than or undeserving of them. I thought it was a really great of depression and anxiety (i personally have both so can only speak to those) as well as OCD and panic disorder! Loved the casual non-binary representation. I’m still not the biggest fan of the third act breakup in romance books so that would be my only dispute but I’m pretty sure I’ve never read one without that trope. Dev and Charlie were just so sweet together together, they really cared about one another. did make me cry at work 👍
