A really fun romance story using a reality show and the background production of a reality dating show. With a complicated relationship between the romantic leads and good lgbt rep, while still being explicit about the fact that these characters lives and decisions are impacted by various lgbt-phobic people and ideas.

Five FUCKING stars!!!

This book is just. It's everything. Vulnerable and funny and sweet and raw and just πŸ₯ΊπŸ₯ΊπŸ₯ΊπŸ₯Ί the DIVERSITY. Racial diversity. Sexual and gender diversity. Is mental illness diversity a thing? Well it is in this book. And all of it so so so so so well done.

The two mains are so chaotic and beautiful and hilarious and *good*. I love them with my whole CHEST.

As an asexual person, I've NEVER seen a character who is explicitly ace. Maybe a handful that were ace-coded, but never actually using the word. AND THIS BOOK DOES IT TWICE! TWIIIIIICE!!! And I've *certainly* never seen it from a main character. And it was *good* rep. Actually accurate rep. And two different characters that showed two different places on the ace spectrum!! I can't believe this is real tbh. It's just brilliant and made me feel so loved and seen πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°

Anyways go read this book it's brilliant and lovely and goofy and πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

This book was AMAZING. it was adorable, queer, hysterical, emotional, and made me squeal with joy. Charlie and Dev were AMAZING characters and they were built out so beautifully. I loved the story of discovery for Charlie and the acceptance for Dev and the path towards helping themselves and their mental health for both of them. All the other characters, Jules, Paris’s, and even Ryan, were logeable, hysterical, and beautifully developed. I absolutely LOVED the concept of this story and it was written BEAUTIFULLY. Allison Cochrun took immense care in making this story beautiful but also delicate and handling all the possibly sensitive topics so well. The entire book was amazing and the end was STUNNING. It was everything I hoped and dreamed and more. Overall, an AMAZING book that fulfilled all of my dreams and I hope there are always more stories like this.
