Damn, this was so exceptional.

The story follows Amanda, a woman who has recently undergone traumatic lost, leaving her in a deep depression and very vulnerable. She is taking measures of revenge that land her in trouble and having to attend a grief support group, where she meets Wendy, someone who has undergone a similar experience. The two bond over their shared history and come to make life or death decisions, one will kill for the other. In the same city, Ruth has experienced her own trauma and is having a difficult time recovering.

This story was so well written and so unique. Reading a lot of thrillers, many times I don’t find them thrilling, they’re very simple and a story I’ve already read many times. This was the exception, it had twist after twist. These twists left me smacking my hand down and gasping, jaw dropped and those are the best kinds. This is one of those books that after you finish, you sit there wondering, how did the author come up with this? But you’re so happy they did!
Read this if you like a good, well written story with many twists, multiple POVs, unreliable characters and one of those stories you can’t put down. I highly, highly recommend this. I don’t want reveal too much about the story, but every time I thought I figured it out, I doubted myself and then everything changed again, it left me constantly wondering, how is all this connected?
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the free preview in exchange for an honest review.
