enamored with her writing i need to read more of her books this was brilliant.
adventurous challenging mysterious reflective tense

This book was so well done, the story was touching and well paced. I love the friendships of the girl in the Matula. Just a beautiful piece

Really, really good. While the tides of WWII turn away from Hungary’s favor, a young girl comes of age at a rural boarding school. Gina is young and naive, but she quickly learns the insular, oppressive environment of her school isn’t so bad compared to the chaos beyond its walls and appearances aren’t always what they seem. It’s episodic, propulsive, and a mystery until the last page!
