This book is essentially just a collection of fortune cookie fortunes, but I’m here for it.

Short and witty. Speaking on some thoughts a lot of us have that we’d feel too pretentious to say out loud in normal conversation. Still applicable commentary decades later which was a little sad at times and other times heartwarming to see how people haven’t changed.

reflective

What would it have been like to sit down and have a conversation with Oscar Wilde? To hear him speak without filters, while also knowing he was carefully watching every reaction, every glance, measuring the effect of each perfectly chosen word?
This book feels like the closest we can get to that experience. A collection of sharp, witty, and piercing reflections that reveal not just his intellect, but also a deeply observant soul quietly hoping to be accepted for who he truly was.
