Only two things surprised me out of this book which was good because otherwise I wouldn't have rated it as I did lol. It wasn't bad and I did enjoy the suspenseful times when things started getting interesting but overall it lacked something for me to really be drawn in. It could have been that most of the characters were annoying to me and I don't handle those types of characters well or it could have been the narrator of the audiobook. He did a great job being theatrical and reading the story but the voice he used when doing this was unpleasant to me. The author is good with the main twist reveal and I enjoyed the Easter egg planted about The Silent Patient!
He is the master of writing books that leave me feeling on edge! I usually do not read thrillers, but I am willing to make an exception if he writes the book. I devoured this book!
