Impressiona a quantidade de detalhes sobre a vida e feitos de Júlio César neste ótimo livro escrito por Adrian Goldsworthy.
Se decidir ler este livro esteja pronto para acompanhar os confrontos de César com as inúmeras tribos na região da Gália (Eburones, Ubii, Menapii, Parisii, Atrebate, Caleti, Helvetii, Bituriges...).
Agora pretendo ler sobre o próximo imperador romano - Gaius Octavius (Augustus). :-)

Again a master class and well written book by Adrian.

I knew a lot about Caesar beforehand but the many great detailed letters and orations are amazing to read about.

A truly amazing and such epic historical figure we would never see again.

Even if you know Caesar you can still learn a lot from this book.

Overall well researched, and contains sources for disputed information. Even though this book was well made, I struggled to remain interested the majority of the time. I am glad to come away with a better understanding of the Roman and pre common era history.
