One word: Espectacular! I have read so much about this book, but I had no idea what the story was about. It was such a wonderful surprise, loved the development of the story and each of the characters. I need an Oliver in my life, it was like he was coming from another era, he was a true gentleman. He had me swooning throughout the whole book. I truly enjoyed this book so much. I started with the audiobook and finished it on kindle. I couldn’t put it down, I was wishing I could read it with super speed, imagining I was the Queen of the Lotus!!!! I totally recommend this book, Sydney was funny, witty and had the best personality. She and Oliver truly were soulmates. Beautiful friendships with such a resilient group of people! One of my favorite reads of the year for sure!

Amazing! When I stumbled upon still beating randomly, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it! Lotus was no different! The author has an incredible way of taking such awful circumstances and writing them in such an incredible way. It’s hard to read at times, but so well written that you just can’t put the book down. I was hooked from the beginning and couldn’t wait to see what happened. It was sad and sick and twisted, but beautiful at times too! So good!
This was such a delightful book! It made me laugh, almost made me cry…just an all around great story about friendship, love, and helping one another through life’s traumas.
