Oh. My. Gosh. I don’t even know how to put all my feelings into words with this one, but wow—this book was everything. It had me sobbing, giggling, ready to throw the darn book at a wall at times.. 

The plot, the characters (especially my main man Oliver 🫶🏼), everything was just absolutely perfect. 

@author.jenniferhartmann I guess I’m moving on to The Stars Are On Our Side now but uh I may have to bill you for my therapy when I’m done. JK. But in all honesty you really know how to write the perfect trauma romance and I’m so glad I discovered your work 🫶🏼

Not as good as Still Beating.

What I enjoyed: Oliver was a great character, and I loved his unintentional humor. The twist of the kidnapping was great and caught me off guard. Oh Clem, so tragic.

What I disliked: I didn't find the kidnapping at age 6 to be a believable story line. On Oliver's side, yes. But how it impacted Sydney, color me skeptical. Maybe a few years older, sure. But 6?!
