It has been days since I finished this book and I can’t stop thinking about it. I feel as if it is so rare we find a male MC like Oliver. He is kind, gentle, and polite despite the horrors he has faced. Usually a male MC who has gone what he has would be written as brooding, angry, and/or emotionally distant - so this was a nice change of pace.
The love story is absolutely beautiful even though they’re both survived some horrific events. I also love the friendship between Sydney and Gabe. I feel as if this will be a book that sticks with me for a long time

I went into this book expecting that it couldn’t be better than Still Beating… but boy was I wrong. I could not put this down, it had me wanting more and more and I literally think I am in love with Oliver lmfao

I really enjoyed the story and the relationship between the 2 main characters develop. Reduced half a star because I found the writing a bit clichè at times, especially the author's overuse of the term "squeak" to portray a laugh/excitement.
