"Even my very gay ovaries have a reaction to the sight."
The writing in this is abysmal. The main characters are really boring, and the side characters all have singular personalities.
Any time there was a heartfelt or emotional moment, they had to undercut it with "comedy". Like these people are just so quirky, it's like a damn Family Guy cutaway.
The big fight in the middle of the book is annoying and makes very little sense.
And the whole abortion thing was none of her damn business. She shouldn't have to dole out Kala's personal details to get forgiveness.
The whole book, a big part of Hope's character is that she has dyslexia,
"My first reaction is to gulp like a cartoon character."

I love sweet romance books. But I think I was just in the mood for something a little more spicy and dark and this book is obviously not that.
I think if I had read this at another time when I was more in the mood for it, I would have loved it more, but at this point in time it just wasn't for me.
I would still recommend it. It's absolutely a good book. I just wasn't in the mood for it at this point in time. I may reread it at some point in the future and see if my rating changes. But for now, I'm giving this a 3 out of 5.

This was super cute and adorable. I loved the team dynamic and the chaos of the friend group.I appreciated that these characters felt college age appropriate, not adults in college but freshly adult people figuring out their place in the world.
Super quick and super fast read!

Well, wasn't this a wholesome, cute, angsty, WLW sports romance? 😍
I thoroughly enjoyed this one, I stumbled upon this after seeing it suggested on That by the author and it didn't disappoint. I'll return for a proper review later, but just know that this was great. I laughed and I cried.
