Makes me wonder how many tales of heroism from WWII died without us ever knowing. The writing in this was not outstanding and the reader for the audio was somewhat slow, but the story made up for those shortcomings.
The poor quality writing style was hard to get past (felt more like a re-telling than a novel) but once I did, I was totally engaged in the content and didn’t want to put the book down. Story of a young Italian man who works as a spy in WWII
