emotional lighthearted fast-paced

I have this new idea for a pair of socks...

First off, once you finish this awesome story you’ll know what the review title is referring too Secondly, you’ll have absolutely no problems enjoying this story. It has some beautiful emotional moments, but mainly it’s just a romantically humorous story. Stephanie is Adam’s personal assistant, or life assistant as she puts it, and it’s a very true description. Adam is a man you puts his all into his company, but only in the best of ways, especially after getting a devastating divorce a few years prior. Stephanie has been there through it all, with her bluntness and lack of filter, helping him heal, even if he didn’t realize it. A crazy plan from Adam, a camping trip full of mishaps, and an awkward meeting with the ex, all make for a humorous and heartwarming book that will keep you thoroughly entertained from start to finish. Things can only go right with Mr. Perfectly Wrong

Steph does everything for her boss Adam. From organising his appointments, cleaners. personal chef and even purchasing his underwear. So when he asked her to accompany him on a camping trip for the weekend to get back at his ex-wife she thought that this was a step too far. Offering to pay her a $5k bonus she couldn't refuse as she needs the money to pay for a new roof.

Adam has been divorced from his ex-wife Stephanie (yes, his ex and his assistant have the same name) for two years. Her parting shot was a speech about how useless he was and not much of a man. Something that has played on his mind ever since so plans a weekend camping to prove her wrong as he knows she is also going camping with her new personal trainer boyfriend. Steph isn't too keen on the plan and repeatedly tells him that it is doomed to fail. Managing to renegotiate her bonus to $10k. The press on and manage to have disaster after disaster.

Drinking away their first day of camping turmoil they share confidences, brutely honest thoughts and an amazing make-out session. But they opt to forget about the kissing when they think about how they shouldn't be doing anything. But soon they can't fight the urge any longer. Steph has a way of making Adam understand why he is perfect just the way he is. Whilst Adam makes Steph feel beautiful and wanted. What happens when they bump into ex-Steph?

This is a great romantic comedy read from Lindsey Hart.
When Adam asks his secretary Stephanie to go on a weekend camping with him to prove that he can do anything he sets out to do, even though he's not sure he can.
His ex wife ex-Stephanie has him doubt everything but can he pull it off when everything starts to go wrong.
When feelings change between him and Stephanie will they get the future they both want.
A must read with plenty of drama and emotion but also a new love to look forward to.
Loved the ending.

I absolutely loved reading Mr. Perfectly Wrong and this should be a 5 star read. However, I can't get over how there is no rhyme or reason for Stephanie to be borderline bitchy and dislike him. I mean he's the perfect boss, loved and respected by all of his employees, his family and friends, yet according to her internal monologue, she dislikes him. In the beginning it even seems like she hates him, although her actions and behavior prove that top be false.

Obviously his perfection is non existent according to our hero. In his mind he's barely a man. It's an unfortunate, yet sadly realistic issue, when s bitter and angry person's words, however false stay with you and impact how you see yourself. That is Adam's problem and what leads him to ask Stephanie to go camping in order to prove his manliness to Ex-Stephanie. Like all revenge plots, it goes horribly wrong and blows up in his face. It's the voyage there that makes for a good story.

It really was a good story. The only thing that bothered me was that no matter what Stephanie said to him, even at the very end, he didn't seem to believe her. He still believed the bitter words his ex threw at him before leaving him. I had hoped for some grand epiphany, but there didn't seem to be one.

On a side note, I got a kick out of the sock references and every time Stephanie made one and his response of "I love when you talk dirty to me." lol That was great

Not at all it is what i thought it was!! I don’t know what my expectation was but How can a full book revolve around only 3 days, nobody fall in love in 3 days!!!!. No i don’t like it not going to recommend it. 2⭐️ because of a few funny moments otherqise no story no character progress nothing.

I received a free ARC copy in exchange for my honest review. This is my opinion and was not influenced by anyone.

Stephanie as an Executive Assistant does everything for Adam Fino. He's billionaire sock baron. He's been divorced for two years to a woman to a woman loosely called Ex-Stephanie. She said a bunch a horrible, hurtful things to Adam, really crushing his self image.

Adam gets the great idea to take his assistant Stephanie on a camping trip; the same camp where Ex-Stephanie and her new boyfriend are spending the weekend. He asks Stephanie to pretend to be his current girlfriend and make the Ex jealous. However neither Adam or Stephanie know anything even remotely about camping.

Mr. Perfectly Wrong by Lindsey Hart blends romance with humor. There is humor infused throughout. One example: Adam loves his job creating and selling socks. He relates everything in terms of socks. At one point he states that a mean person needs socks because if they had a pair of cozy, warm sock they wouldn't be mean.

The story reads quickly and it held my attention. I found myself smiling while reading. The feelings between Stephanie and Adam has been buried for a while and it slowly breaks through, surprising them both. Stephanie is strong and speaks her mind freely. She not only bolsters Adam by telling him what he needs to hear truthfully but she stands up for Adam to his Ex. Adam was a man that was beat down mentally and emotionally by his Ex. I really would like to have seen him stand up to her at some point, once he found his confidence and happiness again. This story, a standalone with a happy ending is definitely recommended.

Lindsey Hart has done it again! Her books are always the perfect blend of humor and romance, and this one certainly did not disappoint. Adam and Stephanie were well written characters with amazing chemistry, and the story flowed well and never had a dull moment. I enjoyed every minute of it!
