I really enjoyed this book, I got more and more curious how it was gonna end and who really played which role. There's just one thing I found confusing (severe spoiler):
I figured out that Karen was the stalker in the first part, but wasn't 100% sure all the time, because Karen's relationship to her mother confused me. I remember reading that she barely talks to her on the phone, if at all, but then in the stalker chapter she was visiting her. I might not have read it precisely enough.

Overall I liked it a lot and read it pretty fast.

Thank you to TBC and the author who gave me an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

'Before I Let You In' is a psychological thriller that keeps you guessing right up until the final page has been turned. Just as you think you've got it all sussed out and know exactly where it's going - bam! It takes you off in a completely different direction.

Full of twists, turns and some genuinely shocking moments, 'Before I Let You In' is the perfect read for anyone who loves a good character driven psychological thriller. A fabulous 4 stars.

Before I Let You In is a story told through three best friends Bea, Karen and Eleanor. For me the start of this book seemed a little chick-lit until things started to get a bit wierd… The story is split into three parts, is written well and contains short chapters. Towards the end of part one had my draw dropping, every mothers worst nightmare.

The further I got into the book the more I felt sorry for Karens character but that changed quickly towards the end of the book. I hated Jessica’s character throughout but changed my mind about her towards the end too. Everyones secrets are revealed in this story and they’re all shocking. Before I Let You In has an explosive, unexpected ending which will mess with the readers head and make you think whats what! Brilliant.

A well deserved five stars from me. I have loved and enjoyed all of Jenny’s stories recently and would highly recommend them to you all. Brilliant stories that can keep a reader hooked throughout.

This book was amazing! I absolutely loved it! The suspense is present from page 1 and doesn't stop until the end, growing more as the story goes on. The author adds an excellent twist ending that I didn't expect. The short chapters are great. I like being able to pick up a book even if I only have a few minutes to read. It also helps give that page turner effect that I so love. Excellent book! Will read more from Jenny Blackhurst!
