This was an enjoyable feminist revenge fantasy. I didn't think the writing was the best (the dialogue often felt forced). Some of the feminist and class conscious messaging felt a little 101 but hey some people need that. Despite these critiques, I found myself enjoying the story throughout, it was a very easy and pretty quick read relative to its length, I was gripped by how the story would resolve and satisfied by the ending

I loved this book. I thought it had a great lens of feminism as the overtone of the book. This book could even leans towards misandrist which I don’t mind myself. I love that this book doesn’t shy away from vengeance as justice and women’s rage. It has a strong theme of justice by any means including revenge, murder and violence. I also enjoyed the mystery element of it all. I was
kind of surprised that Leo & Claude were involved but he was TOO nice
. I wasn’t too surprised though however I enjoyed that the author didn’t drop any hints to allude to his villainy because that always gives them away. I enjoyed would recommend. I’m taking a star because it was a little heavy handed on certain feminist points like daily scenarios that women experience. The kind of points that explain things that a woman reader would already know. So, it kind of explains itself a bit but overall I enjoyed. I would definitely recommend to people branching into feminist rage fiction

I came across this while browsing through Libby and decided to borrow it without reading the synopsis so I had absolutely no idea what it was even about or what to expect. Am I mad about it? Nope. Overall, it was pretty good. The characters were awesome and I laughed out loud more than a few times. I did think it was a little long and I found myself getting bored during the last 25% though. I am all about female empowerment and all that but I feel like this was a lot and almost trying too hard but also fell short in some ways. I listened to this on audio and loved the narration. I’m going to think on it for a couple days and maybe come back and update this review but for now it was just alright.

What a page turner! I laughed out loud at several points,  whooping as certain characters got their comeuppance. Harriet is one of my favourite literary characters ever
