I loved the addition of the essays from the documentary. A really detailed look at the war, especially for someone looking to know what went on (at a relatively high level, with some closer looks). I still really appreciate the breadth of interviews, too.

This was a good introduction to the Vietnam war. I suspect it helped that I recently read a book on the 1968 presidential election, but I thought that this book did well at balancing between broad overview and detail.
