Há muito que adiava a leitura de um livro de Bukowski. Sem nenhum motivo em especial, mas simplesmente porque outros livros, outros autores se interpunham. Como precisei de um título com seis palavras, decidi que chegara finalmente o momento de ler este, já que preenchia a premissa.

Bukowski is still one of my favorite authors. Even though it seems like he writes about the same stuff over and over, I haven't gotten tired of it yet. I'm sure I'll read another of his soon.

I really enjoyed some of theses stories, and others are just too ugly for me - although his writing is uniformly excellent, I just can't enjoy the content in some of his writing.
Podobał mi się ten zbiór opowiadań, są one ułożone w dobrej kolejności, od tych najmniej obskurnych do tych, no cóż, o bardziej kontrowersyjnej treści. Styl Bukowskiego jest zaskakująco przystępny, ale może mam takie wrażenie przez uprzednie czytanie prozy, której autorem jest Houellebecq. Tej książki na pewno nie zapomnę, a zwłaszcza moich ulubionych opowiadań, czyli „Odmóżdżarka”, „Ruchadło”, „卐”, „Wszyscy wielcy pisarze” oraz „Dwanaście ich i nie chcą kopulować jak trzeba”.
