A lovely holiday novella where Sophie fights the urge to covet her best friend's dad, who's also her boss. But, Bram struggles with the same feelings because she is his daughter's best friend. Trying to keep things professional is bad enough. Getting trapped together because Nature chose to dump a mega storm on them made things so much harder! The slowish burn/ suspense waiting to see if and when they get together made this so good! This was sweet, spicy, a wonderful experience seeing two people exlore things between them with careful considerations before giving in. I really enjoyed reading this as I don't read age gap books like this, but it's just an example that things just happen between two people and that struggle against the want to keep conformity makes for a great romance.

There is so much come in this book.
Such a good, quick story. The understanding and love between all characters involved was inspiring.
Looking foreword to readying more from the author.

I picked this up mainly because I wanted to read book two. However, I did enjoy the first 60% of the story. I liked the interactions and chemistry Bram and Sophie had throughout. However, halfway through it felt heavy spice and no more plot. I think I wish I got a little more back story on each character. I enjoyed how we saw how they came up on their feelings and everything, but just needed a little more. Overall a good quick read!
