Pretty darn cute. My 7 year old enjoyed it. It made her laugh and we had plenty of giggles and 'would that really happen...?' moments together. Fun read-aloud.
Eh...I'm not sure whether it's because this book was aimed at someone twenty years younger than me or I just didn't like the book. I found Judy Moody to be flat and irritating, although, again, that might be because of my age.
I just don't know how you compare her to Ramona.

A nice little read aloud story for young children or independent read for young readers. This one inspired me to want to make my own ME collage!

A good chapter book for my 1st grader. Just the right amount of illustrations and words on the page. She laughed at some parts and had a dream about the trick hand. We read this in 3 nights so it doesn't take long to read.

We listened to this in the car. But I won't get any more in the series. I think these Stink and Judy Moody books are better for the kids to read on their own. The writing isn't the best, but my kids still loved the story.
I read this because the 3rd grade class I'm working with is reading this book one chapter at a time. I decided to read it so I could help them if they had any questions... as well as just for fun! =]
#1 in the Judy Moody series.
Judy Moody is NOT in a good mood about starting 3rd grade. She is sure that she is going to hate her new classroom and her new teacher. Join Judy as she forms the Toad Pee Club, gets a cool new pet, and expands her famous band-aid collection. When Mr. Todd assigns a really special class project, Judy gets a chance to show everyone how unique she really is.
