I loved the characters in this book a lot. The main characters are lovable and you’ll root for them. The side characters are all great additions to the story as well.

My favorite part of this book were Eastons interactions with Paisley because they were so sweet and precious. Paisley was adorable (not very realistic developmentally but adorable nonetheless ) and might have been my favorite character.

Easton was charming and sweet and Larissa was relatable in many ways.

My problem with this book was that it felt very slow and repetitive for a short book. I should have read this super fast but if felt like it was dragging on and as soon as I closed it for whatever reason I kinda forgot about it or didn’t really feel that urge where I just HAD to keep reading it.

I would definitely still give this one a try if it seems like a book you might like because it had good bones for sure it just didn’t hold my interest for whatever reason.

My favourite Kaylee Ryan book. This is a gem. Single mum, cutest 4 year old daughter, baseball player. Strangers to lovers. This is a great book. I really enjoyed the story and the characters. Low angst, great communication and lots of banter. Highly recommended.

for me

This book was soo cute. They wasn’t a super big drama or anything it was very lighthearted. I loved getting to see them at the end at different points in time. It was cute to see Paisley (I think that’s her name) all grown up and playing softball. It truly was a adorable book. Overall I really liked it and it was close to being a 4 for me. There was just something small missing from it. Not sure what but it didn’t complete grab my heart like 4 stars need to do for me. Would definitely recommend tho. So 3.5/5

Quick read that was oh so sweet! I love when the guy falls quick, and this book definitely had that. It might have been a little too quick, but Easton was determined to win Larissa over and make her feel safe. I loved Easton’s backstory, Larissa’s was heartbreaking, and Paisley was the cutest. I also appreciated that there wasn’t any fabricated drama just because. Glad I read it; a feel-good romance through and through.

Tear Jerker

Omg- this book! As a single mama this book resonates deeply! Reading Paisley’s last chapter my eyes poured the happy tears. It was the best ending to the sweetest book. It gave me all the feels that come with having a daughter and the journey of welcoming someone else into their lives. I highly recommend this book to anyone who need a feel good sweet book!
