OH MY GOD, WHAT DID I JUST READ !!!
To start off I read this book so fast I can't even comprehend what I read.
I feel like everything I say and will type will not give it justice.
An absolute masterpiece, a tragedy, a love story, and two broken souls finding each other.
River and Rain, man what a ride.

I read this book a few weeks ago and I still can't get it out of my mind! I adore both main Characters so much.

Follow the River
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Firstly, even though the author wanted to be vague about the TWs because they're "spoiler-y", I don't think she should have taken away that choice from the readers. She could have put a detailed list on the last page and warned readers to check them out at their own risk of getting spoiled. Because I think mental health matters WAY more than not getting spoiled for a book that can be VERY triggering for some people. I personally wouldn't advise going in blind if you have any doubts about the vague as fuck trigger warning. Here's a link for anyone who wants to check them out: https://booktriggerwarnings.com/Follow_the_River_by_C.E._Ricci
Moving on, in the first half of the book I felt indifferent towards the MCs and a little put-off by their interactions and the development of their "relationship". First, there was this "insta-love" connection about them, and then in the second half of the book the writing was so dramatic about how the two of them together was "fate" and that they were "soulmates". Usually, I gobble that shit up, but in this case it was just a lot of telling instead of showing in regards to the writing. Miss author, you cannot convince me someone has inner monologue spewing shit like that
