I liked the theory of this book more than the execution, but I'm bumping it up one star because I think think it's one that will stick with me and for the thinly veiled Elon Musk trolling.
What if Jan 6 led to a complete takeover of America in 2024? How would that impact Americans and the also the rest of the world?
What if scientists had made a lot of progress in how to preserve humans? What does preserving humans even actually mean?
This book has a lot of questions but not a ton of answers. The flashback pieces didn't work for me here. I think I would have enjoyed them if they were a separate book altogether, but as it stands they detracted more than they added.
