This was a cute but stressful read. Samara had my anxiety through the roof. The girl could not mind her business to save her life. Now granted, her meddling brought about positive changes for the Khanna family. I felt for Samara the entire time. She struggled to obtain the job of her dreams, her father was distant, and she never really had a place that felt like home until she met the Khanna family. Sharav's indecisiveness irked my nerves a lot. After the loss of their father, he became the head of the family and had an obligation to take care of them, but that often happened at the expense of his own needs and wants. I didn't like how he kept leading on Samara, apologizing, and then doing it again. He could not make up his mind between her and his fiancée. And speaking of his fiancée, she is unlikeable and mean, bringing misery to the Khanna household. I was glad Sharav had finally come to his senses regarding his impending marriage to her. We also read from the perspectives of Sharav's siblings (I can't remember if we got one for the brother), which was unexpected, but I enjoyed it. It brought more character and depth to them so we could understand why they acted the way they did. I wanted better for Diya; the girl was so hung up on someone who was no good to her. I'm glad she got rid of him and found someone she fell for. Overall, I enjoyed this story and learning so much about Indian culture.
