This book follows Saffy and Tom who have recently moved into her Nan Roses cottage when we is moved into a care home after being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. They begin extension work on the cottage only to make a gruesome discovery….

First of all what I will say is there’s a lot of backstory to this book, you may think that bam! It hits the action asap but it doesn’t. It’s kind of like a slow burn but once you start unraveling the story it does get interesting

I would say the chapters are massively short but they arnt also 20-30 pages long either, the book I felt was alittle too long for me and all these characters intertwined with each other and at times I was abit confused with who I was meeting.

On a whole I enjoyed the book but there was too many things I wasn’t keen on that held me back from giving it 4 stars. Hence the 3.75 rating.
