Not connecting with this as much as I expected to, but some lovely passages throughout.

In this book there are 52 little readings that help you get thinking about your life. I spent about 18 months reading it, at moments when I was having trouble relaxing, or concentrating, or just tired but needed a little reading to get ready to sleep. It's good, not great.

3.5 *'s. Some really wonderful insights in this book. Lower rating due to author continuously repeating he lost a, rib, he had cancer, he had a cold mother. Initially it was good for reference, but it got old pretty quick. Sorry bout it buddy.

Too much god, and Nepo doesn't come across as enlightened to me? Just a dude who got cancer and things it makes him interesting.

Switched to 365 Tao for this year.

But seriously, if you aren't a follower of an Abrahamic religion, skip this. it's unbearable. Especially if you have agnostic and athiest leanings.

Everyone should own a copy of this book (I would recommend a physical copy), and read it periodically or daily as you wish.

My yoga teacher turned me on to this book and man do I love it. I try to read it every morning and do the little practices. Some of them have literally brought me to tears in a good way. Highly recommend
