Audre Lorde is a brilliant writer and makes her point deftly and with powerful precision. Very contemplative work, though not so much that you might miss a very clear call to action for all genders, races, and sexualities to see one another more clearly.

reading this was transformational - there are lines from this that really changed how i see things and operate in the world. the chapter on silence really challenged me in how i want to approach professional and personal goals, and the importance of action, poetry, education, and growth throughout really made me think about who i want to be now and in the future. really, really enjoyed this.
