First of all, I really enjoy this series. I have also read [b: Ariel is Fearless|34564205|Ariel Is Fearless / Jasmine Is Helpful|Liz Marsham|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1499171343s/34564205.jpg|55707561] and [b: Jasmine is Helpful|34564205|Ariel Is Fearless / Jasmine Is Helpful|Liz Marsham|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1499171343s/34564205.jpg|55707561] and enjoyed those as well. I love that the princesses get to show how clever, resourceful, brave, and helpful they are. It isn't all about looking pretty. These princesses do whatever it takes to help their friends.

These Step 2 books are targeted toward preschool and first grade readers. They use simple words, short sentences, and stories that are easy to understand. Perfect for young readers to read with a little assistance.

Thoughts on Mulan Is Loyal:

Nice story about Mulan overcoming various obstacles with the help of Mushu to find Cri-Kee after he wanders off in the snow. I definitely did not see the ending coming.

Great illustrations as well. I love some of Mulan's facial expressions, especially when Mushu is being a bit sassy.

Thoughts on Merida is Brave:

Great new story about Merida and her brothers. In this one, Merida has to come up with a clever solution to help save one of her brothers. I liked that there was a focus on teamwork and working together in this one.

Again, nice illustrations.
