Loved this latest thriller featuring Lily Kintner and Henry Kimball. They are such compelling and conflicted characters and this was another great page turner. So happy to have a sneak peek at this #ARC that releases on June 11th. Highly recommend, though it is helpful if you’ve read the first two in the series.

I will always recommend Swanson's books to anyone who wants a good thriller exploring the mind of a sociopath. There is always at least one in Swanson's books, and Lily Kintner of THE KIND WORTH KILLING and THE KIND WORTH SAVING returns here. She is an old friend of Martha Ratliff, a woman who suspects her husband of hurting or murdering women every time he travels for work. Lily agrees to help Martha investigate, but neither woman realizes how dangerous the investigation will get. And Martha must confront the fact that she could be married to a killer. There are many twists and turns--it was nice to get another look at Lily and learn more about her character, but it's hard to say more without spoilers. A satisfying read for Swanson's longtime fans.

I hate to say it but this was my least favorite Lily + Kimball collaboration 🫣

The Kind Worth Killing is one of my all time favorite thrillers, so I’m always comparing the next one to the original.  While the premise was interesting, it fell a bit flat for me.

I still love Peter Swanson and he’ll always be an auto buy author.   I look forward to what comes next!

I love this series so much… supremely, readable, with great twists and turns.
