Started off so slow for the first 80-100 pages (took me over a week), then it dug its claws in and wouldn't let up (just a few hours, didn't want to put it down). I'm glad I stuck with it!

This book had some really good moments and then it also had some moments where I wanted to grab Nick Cutter by the shoulders and shake him vigorously while saying STOP TRYING TO BE STEPHEN KING. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

A very dark, very graphic, horrific, horror tale. Exactly what you’d expect of Nick Cutter, but it can be a lot if you aren’t aware of him.
