I received this from Netgalley for an honest review. This a Graphic Novel about a love story between a werewolf and a vampire. It was super corny but it made me laugh so I didn't hate it. It had a lot of dry humor.

This was so adorable!!
Fangs is fluffy, punny and entertaining love romance between vampire and werewolf.
The illustrations are nice and I'd gladly read more of this.

This little comic is exactly what it says it is: a romance between a vampire and a werewolf.

Although I thought the premise sounded incredibly appealing and the cover was promising, I found this to be very disappointing. Instead of a plot, this seemed more like a few disjointed scenes featuring two lovers. No characterization was present except for some stereotypical vampire-ness. It was way too short for anything to be accomplished.

I certainly wouldn’t say Fangs was terrible though. The illustrations were great and I loved the humor. But it felt was too short and underdeveloped to be considered an entire graphic novel. I also would have appreciated a more unique, creative approach to these supernatural elements. I would still want to read more from Sarah Anderson in the future! Definitely some great potential here.

Fangs is a new sweet & funny graphic novel from the creator of Sarah's Scribbles. This is a boy meets girl tale with a twist. In this story Elsie, a vampire, meets Jimmy, a werewolf. The short graphic novel tells the story of their relationship in a series of vignettes. I really enjoyed this one and read it all in one go. It isn't gory at all and has a fun tongue-in-cheek silliness throughout.

I received an advanced digital copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
