Kinda hard to get though some chapters but the act of giving all of these different types of young black people a voice to celebrate themselves, their lives and their joy is a beautiful thing I definitely recommend.

This was truly such a joy to read. Thank you to all the contributors 🥹
Notable short stories for me include the ones by Chanté Joseph, Diane Abbott, Munya Chawawa and Theophina Gabriel ✨ However, in saying that, I felt like I was lucky enough to witness every single contributor’s Black Joy ❤️
Honestly a gorgeous and heart-warming read. You can pick it up and read it all in one go, or you can pick bits and pieces each time, it’s up to you 🙋🏻♀️
4 out of 5 stars for me, thank you ✨
