~may book club read~
This was the read for the May book club read! I thought that the book was interesting overall; however, there were issues that made the read rough.  There were too many characters and a lot of povs, and some were for characters that didn’t feel entirely necessary. It was helpful to get into the character’s head a bit and understand why the killer was targeting them, but the povs should’ve been more refined to characters that were integral to the plot or more limited. Personally, there was a lot of description that felt excessive and so there were parts that I was skimming around. The characters started to feel like overly cartoonish evil, but I kinda enjoyed it since it added more to the drama/sitcom that the book had. The book was entertaining for the most part!

Neighborhood Watch is like Wisteria Lane on Desperate Housewives. LOL

Rich people behaving badly and getting murdered because of it. Some of the neighbors who do get killed were truly awful people (and bad neighbors.) Some of the things that were said and done did give me a good chuckle in the beginning, though. It's like you could tell who was going to be the victims.

It's an entertaining read. It just had way too many points of views to keep track of.

Thank you to Turner Publishing for an advanced readers copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
