I think I've now read everything Amy Bellows has written. I really liked this series. The foxes are so much fun! I loved the magic element, and the solution they arrived at was lovely.

All of her books are like big warm hugs and I love them all!

Like the warmest of hugs!

Everything about this book was feel-good. And Amy Bellows' shifter traditions are absolutely marvelous as they continue to build and evolve. One of her best! ❤️

Fluffy and sexy cuddlefest.

I love cuddles.

I wish I got to spend a whole month snuggled up with my partner.

Evan is cast in a starring role on a new TV series. It's his first big break, so he's decided to take the job even though the start of filming coincides with the arctic fox shifter's burrowing season. Since he can't bring his family on set, the producers arrange for a professional cuddler, and due to the last-minute circumstances, he ends up not only with an alpha male, which is unusual enough, but to top it all off his cuddler Dimitri is an ex-NHL player and the source of Evan's teenage wet dreams.

They're both immediately attracted to each other but decide to put a pin in it until they're no longer involved professionally. This lasts for about 2 days until they cave and have some pretty hot sex, with Evan enjoying some light CNC over Dimitri's girthy cock.

I was pretty devastated for them when
Spoilerthe fledgling mating bond they didn't think they could even make has to be broken so Evan can start filming
. But don't despair, they work it all out, and I really appreciated that Dimitri insisted Evan follow his dreams anyway and not settle. Dimitri is so sweet and understanding and he reassures Evan about all of his insecurities. Also, Spider monkey is a fabulous nickname.

In those initial 2 days, they manage to get interrupted by phone calls at least 3 times, and that was about 2 times too many for me. I feel like it dragged out the beginning a little too much, and I would have loved more content of them during the rest of the month they spent together on set, before we just abruptly jump into the future.

There's a reasonably explicit mpreg birthing scene in this, if that's not your thing I probably wouldn't recommend this. That being said, the birthing scene isn't nearly as disturbingly erotic as the one this author has in A Pebble for Lewis.

I strangely feel like there should have been a bonus scene after the epilogue, and I am a bit disappointed we didn't get to see Dimitri and Evan have fun sex while Evan's parents babysit the kits.

Anyway, I'll definitely read the next one when it comes out, because...well, did I mention the cuddles?

Sexual content: prostate stimulation, coming untouched, anal sex (strict top/bottom)
Kink: CNC (mild), mpreg, size difference, knotting

This is an extreme fast pace romance. It felt like they were already in love a few minutes after they met. It's a sweet story with really good smut.

this is absolutely super cute, but i wanted more snuggles honestly. it was a lot of talking and not enough showing for me. it had a lot of potential and that’s a shame. i loved the ending though.
