Its a really bingeable series so far ! I love the slow burn with all the alphas. The humor is keeping me hooked with this series i find myself laughing a lot, totally my type. Violet is annoying and Nice at the same Time but its often the case with a lot of FMC in dark romance and RH. This second book has more action wich is good but i wish we would have answers sooner, like i Hope we have a LOT of information in the third book because it feels long for the plot twists to happen! Thats why my rating is lowering, but i will absolutely continue this weird series with funny and addictive monsters conflicts! Worth it so far !

The Gypsy thing is never going to stop bothering me, so even if it isn’t problematic, then it keeps me from enjoying the book fully.
That said, this author really panders to my (hates toxic monogamy) mood, and these series don’t feel at all repetitive, and it just feels like when there’s immortality in question, then people don’t really hold to weird ass backwards morals, and I see how that’s realistic?
And she doesn’t give miraculous saves to beloved characters. But the way Violet mourns isn’t entirely clear. She is human, but spiced up? So if she has or doesn’t have other morals and feelings related to her reactions I’m not entirely sure.
I do appreciate the morally black gray men, and it is a fun read anyway.

Holy shit. I mean, seriously, holy shit. This series is definitely on my favorites list.

Re-read #1 May 2019
I like that this is a slow burn, but man, I really want to punch the guys sometimes. The way they talk about her, as if she's just a tool or an object ... ugh. And Damien and Vance are both twatwaffles in this one, in particular.

But man I love this series. The re-read is just making me like it more.

Re-read #2 Sept 2019 (after finishing the series)
So freaking good. And yes, still want to punch Damien and Vance ... and Arion for some of the douche things he says, but he's still my favorite. Also, I love that "stupid" Emit is the one who first starts to figure shit out. Granted, he's seen more than the others, but still...
