2.75⭐️I think this may have been my least favorite so far.  I just couldn’t get into it.

I don't know how I've get to finish it because I didn't even liked it.

in the first book I didn't liked Creighton at all. Annika is a tiny bit; you wouldn't persist on chasing a guy that doesn't even talk to his childhood friends. they both were annoying!

when I started this book and seen Creighton's name, I was like; really?? him?! 😒 what now? will he pass all the novel by silence, saying a few words and mumbling?
second book being about a character you don't even like in the first book is something!!

he's basically Christian Grey as a collage student but make him more unstable, sadistic and inhumane, like a creature, a thing! I can't stand the thought of calling him animalistic because he's worse! Creigh is also tortures women because of his birth mother and can't let it go. he doesn't let her touch him, too. it's like she copied his character and add some in it.

she's so annoying! the parts where he says "shut up" and she just strokes her face and kiss him all over 🤢😒 every time! the way she justifies everything he does to her by saying that "he took and took and gave me blinding pleasure in return" was made me want to hit her with a shovel on the face.  I am also tired of her saying "Tchaikovsky" for every situation.

I didn't liked the parents chapters one bit! they're more annoying than them two.

but at least I was kinda enjoying it, and some parts were really funny too, until the time he started his revenge episodes, family and kidnapping etc.

this book has the same trait of jumping in time too many times to count and couldn't even make it to the end properly. in a week past, month past, years past... where is the good stuff??! only read the stupid torture. gloomy!

you can't inherit some specialty from your parents if you're adopted, maybe behaviors is all that you get! but, when he's talking about his two gay grandpas, he said his mum inherited her blond hair from his grandpa Ethan. and as far as I know gays can't have a child unless one of them would be with a women. so, what's it?

can't you write someone's beauty without calling them GOD??!! aren't you the writer who supposed to find another ways to tell their strong-suits in different ways? in every book with this genre they say the same things AGAIN and AGAIN like it supposed to explain Everything about him or his physic! tired of reading the same things.

the writer says that these books are standalone and can be read separately but she mentioned every character in every book she wrote and
somehow all of the women lives their secret fantasies they tell in the first book.

the words I hated reading because of the exaggeration in this book; Tchaikovsky, pleasure, godlike, panties soak, god and god and he's like god

P.S.: what were you expecting to happen after you kidnapped her and tortured her like a sadistic creature she doesn't even see before??! of course she'll be like you, lifeless, soulless and empty. YOU made her like that!
