I was very excited to indulge in these novellas because of how much I enjoyed " The Love Hypothesis". "Stuck with You" is a super cute novella that follows Sadie, a civil engineer who is fighting to show that just because she is a woman, does not mean she is any less valuable to her field. One unfortunate day, she finds herself trapped in an elevator with Erik, the man who broke her heart a few weeks prior. Did Erik really sell her out and cause Sadie's company to lose a client, or was it all a misunderstanding?
This novella was my least favorite of the three, but I still enjoyed it overall. I am not a huge fan of the miscommunication trope, because as a reader I find myself screaming at the characters that they are being idiots. Sadie did not really give Erik a moment to explain his side of the story, she just took things at face value and cut him out of her life, which seemed very brash to me. Even when they were locked in an elevator together, she did not let him explain his side of the story. The whole situation just made me angry. However, I was happy to see that they overcame their differences and enjoyed their happily ever after.
